We advise everyone to read the 'User Guidelines' before commenting on BtL. We do not tolerate slander and obvious lies and false accusations (point 5). Participants should not be repeating comments deleted by the Editors, there was a purpose to deleting them.

We at BtL have no interest in finding out the real identity of 'commentors'. People are free to use pseudonyms to comment anonymously or use their real names. However, we do advise people to maintain the ’same name’ to facilitate a meaningful discussion.

The only reason a participant would use 'another name' (or multiple names) to the 'normal name' would be to create mischief, say nasty things; or for the purpose of giving the impression that many different people are supporting them or think like them. All of this is unethical and un-Islamic.

If the problem of the 'same people', using 'multiple names' continues, to create mischief – we will have no other option but to change the comments policy. Only 'registered users' will then be allowed to comment.

This would further limit discussion, and may deter some visitors from commenting and participating – and we prefer NOT to do this, unless absolutely necessary.
