Andrew Gilligan, my new fan

After filming for nearly a year, having to rehash much of the old mumbo jumbo written about me and reading incessantly from the cesspits of the blogosphere – I am not surprised at all that Andrew Gilligan has become my biggest fan.  ‘I feel like I’ve known him for ages’ says Andrew and ‘I sort of liked him, actually’.

Well Andrew I am touched, but you still have to queue in an orderly fashion mate and display some ‘Britishness’ in your character. One of those qualities would also be to not turn up uninvited to an invitation only event. You see old chap, it puts the host in an awkward position having to turn you away at the door in front of your ‘friends in the Bengali media’ and it belittles you in their eyes. It was also noticeable how none of your ‘friends in the Bengali media’ came to your aid! Continue reading Andrew Gilligan, my new fan

We are the Resistance II

From the outset of this latest massacre, the Zionist terrorist state of Israel had only one aim, to destroy all semblance of resistance. As the days move on and the number murdered passes the 1,000 mark, we have yet to hear any condemnation from our government.

In fact, the propaganda machine of the terrorist state can claim one victory that it has managed to sway some ‘Muslims’ to drop the call for a condemnation and recognition of the crime being committed against the Gazans. Continue reading We are the Resistance II

It’s foreign policy stupid!

It is nearly two weeks and nearly 600 people have been killed. Yet our government still does not condemn the Zionist terrorist state of Israel.

The MCB has taken a principled stand that it will meet with the Prime Minister and the Foreign Secretary to air its views and concerns. Whilst the government machinery works tirelessly to ‘manage’ the Muslim leadership through junior ministerial meetings, the MCB has chosen to ignore this crass management and stood its ground for a meeting at the highest levels. An action that has brought it much credibility and dignity amongst the Muslim masses. Continue reading It’s foreign policy stupid!

We are the Resistance!

With the death toll now exceeding 350 and the injured exceeding 1,600 – there is no respite from the terrorist slaughter machine of the Zionist state of Israel. America and our own government have given much fuel to this machine and in fact helped to build the killing machine. So let us be clear about this.

Also, let us be clear that the Egyptian government played an active role in ensuring maximum death and carnage of the Muslims in Palestine.

So what is the aim of this mass murder? Well it’s ideological. How you may ask? The stated aim of the Zionist terrorist state is to destroy Hamas and what it stands for, i.e. Freedom. You may notice that Fatah are not being targeted nor are they bleeding for the Muslims in Gaza, but hopefully they will once they return to their humanity.

We have seen this before in 2006 when the same Zionist terrorist state attacked Muslims in Lebanon, with the usual amount of fuel being supplied by America and the UK, so let us not be surprised by it – though we should be completely outraged.

So now let me introduce to you the definition of terrorism (bear with me): Continue reading We are the Resistance!

Qunoot al Naazilah

With over 300 Muslims being slaughtered by the Zionist state of Israel, one can easily feel that there is no hope. But a true believer will never feel that, for he/she will know that with Allah by their side there is nothing but hope.

Our beloved Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Du’a is the weapon of the Believer”.

The East London Mosque has organised a special Qunoot al-Naazilah at Fajr tomorrow (Tuesday) for our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Please attend and raise your hands to the One who answers the call of the believers. . . . → Read More: Qunoot al Naazilah

Call to Islam

Is the call for a ‘British’, ‘European’ or even a ‘Western’ Islam, still a call for Islam?

The advocates of these usually assert that Islam, as practised by all the varied constituencies, has become cultural, and lost its way or purpose for which God revealed the last message to His beloved Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

If this premise is accurate, then is the call for a ‘geographical’ Islamic renaissance any different from the renaissance called upon by ‘Salafi’, ‘Sufi’, ‘Jihadist’, ‘Islamic Movement’, ‘Tablighi’, ‘Traditionalists’ and others? Continue reading Call to Islam
