Inayat stabs an intruder (in self-defence), and is arrested (but the CPS will not press any charges, so that means he is innocent!)

Read the headline of this blog (above). The words in brackets are facts which the, ridiculous excuse for a newspaper, Mail on Sunday (MOS) would NOT like you to know!

Instead the MOS headline reads: “Government adviser on Islamic terror arrested after man is stabbed at his home” Tom Harper is the guy who wrote this piece, sensationalist journalism at its best! Well done Tom! Continue reading Inayat stabs an intruder (in self-defence), and is arrested (but the CPS will not press any charges, so that means he is innocent!)

Marmite and the Aid Convoy

It was a truly historic moment! After a gruelling journey spanning over 8,000 kilometers, and lasting nearly a month; the Viva Palestina convoy finally reached Gaza after receiving permission from the Egyptian authorities to cross the Rafah borders.

Over 1 Million pounds worth of aid, over 100 vehicles and 300 volunteers from across Britain, on Monday 9 March/12 Rabiul Awwal, entered the blessed land of Palestine. Muslims and non Muslims from all corners of Britain came together, having watched the death and destruction reaped upon the people of Gaza by the Israeli war machine. They were moved by their humanity and stirred to do more then just demonstrate and picket - they wanted to provide a real lifeline for Gaza. Normal, simple, everyday men and women were moved and inspired to do something momentous. And despite all the obstacles in their way they succeeded. It goes to show, where there’s a will there is a way. Continue reading Marmite and the Aid Convoy

Contest 2: What does it mean for you?

On Tuesday the Guardian reported on a leaked draft government strategy document. Contest 2, the latest counter terrorist strategy proposes that people (read Muslims) should be considered extremists if:

• They advocate a caliphate, a pan-Islamic state encompassing many countries.

• They promote Shariah law.

• They believe in jihad, or armed resistance, anywhere in the world. This would include armed resistance by Palestinians against the Israeli military.

• They argue that Islam bans homosexuality and that it is a sin against Allah.

• They fail to condemn the killing of British soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Of course these plans have ‘won’ favour and support from Ed Hussein, Majid Nawaz and their foundation, from Harry Toube and Mad Mel. But what does Contest 2 mean for you? Continue reading Contest 2: What does it mean for you?

No hostility towards Israel…ever

I actually enjoy watching Question Time on the BBC. It’s quite refreshing to see MPs being taken to account by members of the general public, as representatives of the main political parties work against each other to get the loudest applause or cheer of approval. It’s a sign of our healthy democracy – the direct interface between the people and their elected leaders.

So whilst watching Thursdays episode, I fully expected a question about the BCC’s refusal to show a humanitarian appeal for Gaza by the DEC. While Hardeep Singh Kholi, Nicola Sturgeon and Jo Swinson rightly spoke against the indefensible and inconsistent decision of the BBC, Michael Gove and Lord Falconer spoke in favour. Silly Harry!

Oopps, the Prince has done it again! Silly Harry! Calling a fellow cadet Ahmed Raza Khan a ‘Paki’ while describing another Army cadet as a ‘rag-head’. But isn’t this a case of mountain out of mole hill? Paki?

Don’t Asians call each other Pakis? Rag-head, isn’t that just innocent banter? Most black rap artists use the word ‘nigger’, while many homosexuals feel proud at being called queer. Paki is a simple abbreviation, so why all the fuss? Continue reading Silly Harry!

Inaction is not an option

Day eight of near enough non stop bombardment, over 420 Palestinians killed, thousands injured, hospitals bombed to the ground, the sanctity of mosques ignored as they are struck by Israeli missiles, political leaders assassinated along with their children and family.

This is Israel’s response to homemade rockets fired more in defiance then anything else. Israel’s response  to rockets fired into southern Israel which has killed only four in the last 7 days, is to launch an unprecedented aerial bombardment of Gaza, threaten land invasion and declare a long and protracted war to destroy Hamas’s capability to launch rockets. Has it worked? Has it hell! Continue reading Inaction is not an option
