Another one bites the dust!

Our stalker Andrew Gilligan is keeping his word to the ‘concerned’ public (although procrastination is creeping in) to ‘expose’ the authors of Btl. He is still trying to misguide the readers with lies and innuendos. I’m telling you people – I’m on cloud nine as they say! I have never received such attention from a ‘respected’ journalist working for a national newspaper before. Well, not like this anyway.

In his blogpost Mr Andrew Gilligan quotes from a short blog I posted on my personal blog from the Muslim Public Affairs Committee’s website (www.mpacuk.org) in which the author poses a question: When is joining a mainstream political party regarded as ‘infiltration’? This is in reference to the allegations of ‘entryism’ made by Jim Fitzpatrick a few weeks back against the Muslims of Tower Hamlets.  He then concludes his blog by stating: ‘’So how should Muslims respond? Simply by getting rid of Fitzpatrick and any other MP that makes such allegations at the forthcoming General Election. Fitzpatrick has a surmountable majority of just over 7,000 votes. If Muslims in the constituency organise against him, they can either sweep him out of power or at least erode his majority into marginal territory. Muslims should demonstrate that they can vote tactically in the Election and show malcontents such as Fitzpatrick the door.’’

Mr Gilligan’s judicious journalism fails to come to his rescue again! I’m sure the readers have picked up on his ‘I have considerable doubt as to how reliable Gilligan’s evidence really is’ methods of journalism. He fails to see that the author of the blog he quotes is not myself but someone over at the MPACUK site. You’re getting lazy Andrew!

You know this whole issue about the IFE trying to take over the Labour party in Tower Hamlets – the lies about entryism and infiltration and the subsequent scaremongering of Muslims by ignorant Islamophobes, highlights to me the psychological paranoia these people find themselves in. If you think I’m exaggerating – readers are directed to examine some of the racist and Islamophobic comments left by Andrew Gilligan’s fans on his posts, all of which he purposefully failed to condemn.

Allow me to remind the readers some of the symptoms of paranoia. The “Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders”, fourth edition (DSM-IV), some of which lists:

• preoccupied with unsupported doubts about friends or associates (in this case the authors of Btl)
• suspicious; unfounded suspicions; believes others are plotting against him/her (in this case, the reality is of no concern)
• reads negative meanings into innocuous remarks (need I say more?)

Reading the blogs of Andrew Gilligan and the flimsy attempt to ‘expose’ the authors of Btl demonstrate that people obsessed like that are either paranoid for which they need to seek medical and psychological treatment, or they are on the borderline of paranoia.

I wonder which kind of paranoia would best describe someone like that – if it is proven that this is the case. If there is any psychologist following these articles and blogs, do enlighten us.

Perhaps, and do correct me if I’m wrong, it may be the Persecutory paranoia which is the most prevalent type of paranoia and in this, the patient makes himself believe that all those around him are his enemies, bent on harming him or even taking his life. In this delusion people of an aggressive temperament often turn out to be dangerous killers. In the present case it’s just spreading lies, innuendos and hatred. Although reading from the comments of Andrew Gilligan’s fans – it is more like incitement to hatred. And it seems Mr Gilligan is not in a hurry to distance himself from these vitriolic comments.

Andrew! Next time, before misquoting anyone, I suggest you run to vision express!
