Andrew ‘I have considerable doubt as to how reliable Gilligan’s evidence really is’ opens another diatribe against Muslims with the words “I proudly present today’s post”. What is fast becoming clear is his pride in unleashing racism, violence and hatred towards Muslims. Gilligan has emphatically stated that he has a personal vendetta against IFE and its members on our show (Easy Talk) over the weekend – he followed this admission with the threat ‘Don’t imagine this to end’!
In his article of 5 paragraphs and a line, Gilligan makes no effort to distance himself from the racist comments on his blog but dedicates 2 substantial paragraphs (over 40%) of his article to criticise comments that are not favourable to his views. Examples of the racist comments Gilligan fails to condemn are:
- “… no one knows you’re a paki.”
- “don’t actually believe there is anything wrong with the word Paki.”
- “Why did Labour give them the bloody keys to the kingdom?”
- “become like us is what assimilation means … if you don’t want that then you know where the door is, if you don’t want to take the door and want to remain as a hostile guest then the time is approaching when you will be shown the door … and no we don’t apologise for our stance on how we will once again govern our country”
- “Will you still say it’s your country when we’ve sent you all back to the Punjab?”
- “barabarian aliens”
And when one commentator says “I’m looking forward to when we tear the minarets down … that will signal the beginning.”
We have silence from Gilligan even though he makes it clear that he has read these comments. Why would Gilligan feel at ease to let comments like ‘that will signal the beginning’ go unchallenged? You will recall that the Police have increased their surveillance of the Far Right groups and are fearful of a Terrorist attack on Muslims. Is this comment a veiled threat, and is the intended target East London Mosque?
This kind of rhetoric will be familiar to those that followed what happened in Bosnia and the current war crimes trial of Radovan Karadzic – you will not fail to see how this very rhetoric was the source of what was to follow – Genocide. Gilligan’s deliberate silence on these matters can only be seen as proof of his deep seated Islamophobic hatred and agenda. Thankfully, most of our fellow citizens abhor these types of comments and people who utter them, but that’s not an excuse for Gilligan’s actions and his pandering to it.

As we have shown, Gilligan makes allegations, yet provides no evidence, he misquotes from our blog, makes insinuations and has created a platform for his supporters do the rest. Where is his responsible journalism, where is his condemnation of this targeting of East London Mosque by violent extremists?
If you take his latest rant about me, he says I got the vote out for Ken Livingstone and that it was ‘astonishing, indeed miraculous’! Flattering as these comments are, they only seek to mask his Islamophobic agenda. The point Gilligan wanted to make; between the lines (pun intended), was that there was something ‘sinister’ or ‘criminal’ about this – not that people, and in particular Muslims, felt Ken was worthy of a third term. When I challenged him and said ‘are you accusing me of a criminal act?’ Gilligan back tracked like all bullies and bigots do when you stand up to them, and said no. Gilligan is not a journalist by any stretch of the imagination, it would seem Lord Hutton’s stinging criticism of his shoddy ‘journalism’ was absolutely justified. He has a personal crusade to wage against Muslims and in particular Muslims that participate in society.
The best reaction to this kind of hatred and bullying is to continue and increase the good work we are all engaged in, yes register to vote, yes participate in our civic duties and yes vote on Polling day. Gilligan acts like the ‘chief’ campaign manager for the BNP – let us unite and make sure he fails to get racists elected.
Having spoken to Gilligan a few times I would never have thought he would stoop so low– yet clearly he has, as he deliberately chose not to condemn violence and racism, yet made time to take a swipe at the name of a commentator.

Just read some of the comments on his blogs! Blimey he really has attracted all the racist EDL types on his blogs! Yet he fails to comment on them? Strange!? A good read Azad,I also think that the average Brit will see pass this far right agenda.
Very Well said and very accurate indeed. I have just read Andrew Giligans blog and i have seen comments which Andrew himself read, which were much more abusive and islamophobic which he refused to comment on, even thogh it was made clear to him from other comments. It is evident that he is an islamophobic and a racist journalist who makes up stories with no evidence, his blog is filled with Lies, which even when he is corrected he makes no comment about it.
Andrew Gilligan is a boring, sad, lonely, journalist,Who has no evidence for any of his bias and false allegations. As we can see from the above blog which is a direct evidence and it is not out of context, as i have read all the comments on Andrew Gilligans blog. Much more reliable the information here, rather than Gilligan who always misintreprets people and takes them out of context.
I guess it is clear Gilligan is doing this gutter journalism out of a vendetta for himself and his friends (ie. Fitzpatrick, Oona King?). I wonder why C4 and Ofcom haven’t reprimanded him for abusing his position for political and hatred for IFE/LMC rather doing the job of a real journalist?

Gilligan – are you telling me that there aren’t certain comments on your blogs that are obscene? That are abusive? That are offensive? The list goes on!

Althogh everyone here is speaking against Andrew, i just thoght i’l be the first one to thank him, for the huge publicity his given IFE, i didnt really no much about IFE, but that poorly produced political dispatches program made me interested, and after reading all these blogs here, i’am convinced IFE are not the extreamist Andrew calls them. So thank you Andrew for making me and my family as well as relatives accroiss UK to be pro IFE. And iv become an Azad ali fan.

Gilly boy is reliably a racist
Surely, if nothing Gilligan says is true, then why does the IFE get so upset? If the will of the IFE is good and truely desires to bring only the peace of God to the UK, then it has nothing to fear, for surely God will support it. If it wishes to bring bloodshed & discrimination then God will not support it.
Christians believe that the One Holy God made all people free, its fundamental, our likeness to God is in the freedom we have to choose between God or sin. God is good, God doesn’t do evil & He loves all people.
Let the IFE prove to all non-Moslems that it wants only to bring peace & goodwill towards all people, and Gilligan’s words will fall away. If the IFE’s agenda is to enslave non-Moslems and to treat them as Fakirs, then his words will not fall away.
The UK is a free country, it will always be a free country, that’s its function in the world.
I feel that somepeople, particularly an individual, are behind this conspiracy to defame our community as a whole. I am not going to hesitate to name and shame the person who I feel is behind it. An outsider, who used our community to become an MP and to acheive his political ambition. Poplar and Canning Town Labour MP – Jim Fitzpatrick who’s comments were eye openers for us. He knows that he will get 0 vote in the forthcoming parliamentary election from the Bangladeshi and Muslim Community in Tower Hamlets. Therefore, he wanted to damage our community cohesion and devide us as much as possible potraying us as extremists and terrorists. He knows that people of Tower Hamlets will give him a kick on the backside like Oona King. A ’so called’ politician should not play with people’s belief, values and basic principles. So dear brothers and sisters, watch out if you are living in the Poplar and Limehouse Constituency.
