Muslims and ‘conspiracy theorists’ have been complaining of the all powerful ‘Israeli lobby’ which has a stranglehold of washington politics. Naturally anyone who dares suggest there is such a thing must be anti-semitic. Right?
Well the Obama nominee for the NIC, to head the agency that controls all the Amercian intelligence agencies, can’t be that loony to suggest this, can he? He is just the latest victim, his crime was to have (in the past) suggested that “The brutal oppression of the Palestinians by Israeli occupation shows no signs of ending,” and “American identification with Israel has become total”.
So there you go, someone mainstream has finally pointed to the white elephant in the room. For his efforts he has been hounded out. That’s democracy folks, only in America. At least China doesn’t have time for public displays of hypocricy.
As for exporting freedom to Iraq, the guy who threw his shoes at Bush, he’s just been sentenced to three years in prison. Personally I think he deserved it – firstly for missing, and second he should’ve realised democracy doesn’t mean the same thing to non-white people, even if you live in the US. Now imagine if you don’t live in the US! I say stick to Syrian style government – at least it does exactly what it says on the tin!
Remember those people who threw coloured powder in the house of commons, when blair was there? Did they get jailed for three years?
Clearly not, it only applies to non-white, foreign people. Democracy abroad is not the same democracy in the west.
